Food Selection at the Pavilion

Our food selection in The Pavilion can be offered on a table service or a buffet basis depending on your needs. Table service can be accommodated for more formal bookings but we would advise talking to us to discuss your wishes.

We can cater for your event as below, in addition to offering bespoke menus.

Hot and Cold Bites
A snack grazing buffet, modest in size, without cutlery.  Not intended to be a full meal.
4 varieties of mixed Sandwiches, Chicken Goujons, Pork & Leek
Sausages, Cheese & Onion Baked Potato Skins, Falafel Balls.

Hearty Bites
More substantial than above, but still informal, without cutlery.
4 varieties of mixed Sandwiches, Chicken Goujons, Pork & Leek
Sausages, Cheese & Onion Baked Potato Skins, Falafel Balls,
Mediterranean Vegetable Quiche, Smoked Salmon Bagels.

Hot Fork Buffet
Plated meals served from a buffet, eaten with cutlery.
Coq au Vin or Beef Bourguignon, with roast baby new potatoes
and buttered greens.
Thai Green Chicken Curry, Thai Green Vegetable Curry, or
Chilli Con Carne. Served with Steamed Rice & Salad.

Full Buffet
A full buffet spread, more formally served & eaten seated with cutlery.
Choice of starters on request.
Then either or

Alfresco Offerings – Ideal for groups of family and friends, or as an after work social?

£13.95 (minimum 15 persons)
Generous BBQ of 3 cooked items per person,
3 salads and potatoes.
Choose two items from List 1 plus one item from List 2…..we then cook and serve this choice to everyone.

Cajun Chicken Breast, Pork Belly, Lamb Cutlet,
King Prawn and Chilli Marinade

Pork and Leek Sausage, Corn on the Cob, Lamb Kofta,

Traditional recipe Spanish Paella with Saffron infused Bomba
Rice, Chicken, Prawns, Mussels, Chorizo, Peppers and Seasonings
all cooked on gas in front of your guests in a giant paella dish.

Funeral Gatherings

We are able to accommodate after-funeral private
gatherings here at The Royal Oak. We understand that on these
occasions numbers expected can be unclear and so have created
a buffet that will suit the needs of differing tastes and an
uncertain number of guests. Please feel free to phone us or call
in to acquaint yourselves with our facilities and talk to us about
your wishes.

We have three different spaces that are available for hire on a private basis.  There is a £60 room hire for each, plus the consumables on the day.
